Emulate Hotmail's Success Using Free Tools

Successfully getting other's to market your products or
services can almost guarantee your website's success. With
that statement, I can end this article. What would be the
point of writing it then, except to share some techniques to
accomplish the above statement.
'The Six Simple Principles of Viral Marketing' by Dr. Ralph
F. Wilson gives you the foundation to establish a marketing
plan. I will reenforce these principles, but want to provide
you with existing tools to get the end result.
Hotmail's success was built on a vicious circle. User 'one'
writes an email to user 'two' and Hotmail adds 'get free
email...". User 'two' sees this and goes to Hotmail to get a
free email account. User 'two' writes to user 'three', and
it starts the snowball rolling. This process increases
exponentially.
You can set up a downhill snowball effect for free using
these well known tools.

You have to have something that is wanted or needed to have
this process work effectively. Using the Hotmail approach, I
wrote a program that automates advertising. Needless to say,
it has become a hot piece of software considering it's
price. Free mass automated advertising is sought after by
all internet marketeers.

While writing the webpage promoting the free software, I set
up a pop up to Recommend It, and a link to SendFree's
autoresponder system to send the software back to the
inquirer.
This makes a request to recommend the software to others in
exchange for the chance to win great prizes and utilizes
SendFree's unique marketing tactics. If your not familiar,
for every two SendFree autoresponder requests, your ad is
send out with another email.
Using the StartPage programs, I send out my webpage and the
snowball starts rolling.
These steps are basic, but there are a few more steps you
can do to increase the snowball effect. In the autoresponder
sending back the software location, place a link to
Recommend It to ask the inquirer again to recommend the
software to others.
Set the autoresponder to send out another message two or
three days later, thanking the inquirer for downloading the
software and reminding them again to recommend the software
if they haven't done so yet.
Yes, this is still basic marketing, but is either not known
or is forgotten. Like Hotmail, bring the ends of the circle
together. SendFree promotes the software to others at the
request of your eager inquirers. And if your requests to
recommend the software are persuasive, you have increased
the effectiveness of your marketing efforts.
